.Underground Army
Buried in the mausoleum of China’s First Emperor, Qin Shi Huang, the Terracotta Warriors are one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. The standing army of life-size warriors was commissioned by Qin to enforce his rule over the afterlife. They remained buried underground until 1974 when farmers digging a well unearthed a terracotta head. Since then, the famed Terracotta Warriors have been attracting thousands of visitors worldwide who come to witness this spectacular piece of China’s historic past.

Situated within the Da Ci’en Temple in the southern suburb of Xian, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the most famous and well-preserved Buddhist pagodas in China. Originally built in 652AD during the Tang Dynasty, it holds ancient Buddhist artifacts that were taken to China from India. Today it is rated as a Key Cultural Relic Preserve as well as an AAAA Tourist Attraction.
